Nate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Bridgewater College and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University. He is a Professor of Horticulture at Piedmont Virginia Community College and the owner of the landscape design company, Simply Sustainable Landscapes LLC. He is also a Landscape Designer for Messer Landscaping in Staunton, Virginia. Nate specializes in creating landscapes that are edible, native and historical.
